The Roadmap hub holds items — pieces of work with a title, a description, dates, a lane and a bucket. The same items show in two views.

Timeline view

Bars on a calendar, grouped into lanes. Drag to move or resize. Lanes are yours to define — teams, themes, workstreams.

Now / Next / Later view

Three columns. Drag items between them as priorities change. Items with no dates yet live happily here.

Linking to cards

A roadmap item can link to the cards that justify it — the problem statement it addresses, the decision that unblocked it. Linked cards show on the item.

Keeping it current

The roadmap is only useful if it’s true. Archive items that are done or dropped; don’t delete them. The record of what was planned matters later.
